“With all the talking and walking, eating and drinking, writing and laughing, how can you go wrong? A workshop at Spannocchia is something not to be missed.” — Erin Swan
Spannocchia offers visitors the opportunity to immerse themselves in the food and wine that come from its sustainable farm and vineyard. The workshop schedule allows writers to take a day-long cooking class with the people who prepare Spannocchia’s incredible meals. There are also opportunities to tour part of the farm and see how the wine, olive oil and pancetta are made. (See optional activities below).
Workshop participants also will spend part of one day in Siena. Transportation to and from Siena is included in the workshop fee.) Spend the afternoon wandering through this beautiful city on your own or with your fellow writers. Workshop participants then meet at one of Siena’s fabulous restaurants for an evening meal.
Optional Classes and activities include :
Italian Cooking Class at Spannocchia
Salumeria Tour and Tasting at Spannocchia
